Weed Management

• First weeding should be done between 15 and 21 days after germination. Second weeding has to be done 30 - 45 days after first weeding.


• Pre-emergence herbicide application of Pendimethalin 1.0 kg/ha has to be applied on 5 DAS followed by one Hand weeding on 30 to 35 DAS.


• PE Pretilachlor@ 0.45 kg/ha on 5 DAS and two machine weeding (Power weeder) on 30 and 45 DAS, if sowing is done by using Happy seeder.
