Young growing and emerging leaves show chlorotic.  Interveinal areas pale green with veins green colour.  Later entire leaves become yellow growth stunted.  In severe cases even midrib and veins turn white. 

Soil application of 25kg/ha FeSO4 orFoliar spray of FeSO4 0.5% on 90,105 and 120 days after planting.
