Foetus (Unborn Calf) Insurance Scheme

Brief Description
The scheme is applicable to both the embryo transferred from a selected donor to the synchronized recipient or frozen embryo transferred to the recipient and also the embryo/fetus developed by artificial insemination. This can be covered as a separate policy in addition to Cattle Insurance Policy.

Covered Risks
Still birth, abortion of all kinds, accidental risks(external, violent and visible means including transportation by rail/road), induced abortion under veterinary advice to save mother�s life.

Major Exclusions
Poor quality of embryo, unskillful handling of embryo/foetus at any stage of pregnancy, malicious act, abortion/still birth due to administration of steroids or contradicted vaccination
