Brief Description

All indigenous, cross-bred and exotic pigs (from 4 months to 3 years) are covered however under scheme category exotic animals are not covered.

Covered Risks

Death due to accident or any admissible disease if preventive and curative precautions are taken in time.

Major Exclusions

P.T.D., Breeding & Furrowing risks. Malicious act, accident/diseases contracted prior to commencement of risk, transit by air or sea or beyond 80 kms, Intentional slaughter, theft or clandestine sales, missing of insured animals, war and allied perils, nuclear exclusion clause.
