3. General Information                      

The compost mixture is fed into the barrel housing the screw auger.  The screw  conveys the compost against the die assembly and extrude it as pellets.  A rotating knife cuts the pellets into small pieces.  The pellets are passed over an oscillating tray and collected at the bottom as globules.
