Deficiency Symptoms

• Newly formed leaves show yellowish green discoloration, but veins remain green in colour
• Interveinal areas turn chlorotic first, then the veins become chlorotic and under severe Fe deficiency, the whole leaves turn almost white. This is called sogai disease.

Correction Measures

• Foliar spray 1% FeSO₄ (10g/lit) at10 days interval for 3 times
• Application of 25 kg/ha of FeSO₄ as basal dose
