Deficiency Symptoms

• Yellow patches appear in the leaf margin, later these patches join which gives the leaf a yellowish appearance.
• Dark spots will appear on the affected leaf portion.
• Curling of leaf.
• Basal portion of leaves only shows the symptoms.
• Yellow discoloration in the basal leaves and top leaves remain green.
• Scorching of leaf margin and in-between the veins.

Correction Measures

• Foliar application of 1% KCl (10g/lit) twice at 15 days interval.
