Deficiency Symptoms

• Leaves in the upper region of the plant turns from green to yellow colour, but basal leaves remain green in colour
• Appearance of leaf spots in between the veins
• Leaves curled downward direction
• Lowest leaves appear in white to yellow in colour, while the leaf base remains green
• Pale brown necrotic spots develop with dark brown margin
• Appearance of brown spots on the pods.

Correction Measures

• Foliar spray of 1% MgSO₄ (10g/lit) two times at fortnightly intervals
