Deficiency Symptoms

• Deficiency symptoms first appear in the older leaves of the plants at early stage
• Leaves interveinal region becomes yellow, but the veins remain in green colour
• In the later stage, reddish pale yellow colour leaves are produced
• Young leaves turn completely yellow and dark brownish black spots appear on the leaf

Correction Measures

• Foliar spray of 0.5% MnSO₄ (5g/lit) at 20, 30, 40 days after sowing (DAS) or soil application 10 kg/ha of MnSO₄ as a basal dose.
