Deficiency Symptoms

  • Yellowing of plant tops and younger leaves. 
  • Upper leaves become dark green, with edges curved downward.
  • Inhibition of root elongation leading to death of root tips.

Correction Measure

Foliar spray of 0.3% boric acid (3g/lit) at fortnightly intervals, after the appearance of deficiency symptoms..
