Purpose of Emu farming:
1. Emu egg:

  1. Egg used as table delicacy having a pleasant taste.
  2. Infertile eggs used to make attractive painted and carved ornaments, sold gift.
  3. Broken egg shells used for jewelry arts.

2. Emu meat:

  1. Emu meat is lean tender dark red and delicious.
  2. Rich protein, irons, magnesium, potassium, and other minerals.
  3. Cholesterol is less than 0.05%.

3. Emu oil:

  1. Absorbed by the skin easily, no greasy feeling  a wonderful transdermal carrier for other ingredients in to the skin.
  2. Helps to reduce inflammation & relieve pain.
  3. Moisturizing & emollient.
  4. Enhance the healing.
  5. Helps to keep the skin looking young.
  6. Low irritate potential.
  7. Pet care: Pet oil, soap, etc.
  8. Emu oil with aloe Vera, Tea tree oil, & vitamin E cures wound.

6. Emu Leather: Emu leather is used in upscale products including boots, belts, hand bags, wallets, garments and accessory items.

7. Infertile Eggs: The green coloured shells of the infertile eggs are used to make attractive painted and carved ornaments, which are sold to the public as special gifts.

8. Emu Claws / Toe Nails: The toe nails / claws are polished and used in Jewellery pieces, on key chains, as clothings, in craft projects.
