Symptom of damage

• Caterpillars  feed on the  foliage
• Denuding the leaves leaving veins  and   petioles 

Management

• Hand picking & destruction
• Grow  seedling on elevated benches
• Increase  plant  spacing in nurseries
• Spray malathion or quinalphos at 2ml/lit of water
