Pomegranate Root knot nematodes: Meloidogyne incognita
Symptoms
- Yellowing and shedding of leaves, galls in roots followed by wilting of plant branch wise, due to association of wilt fungus, Fusarium spp.

Management
- Checking for nematode-free (gall free) propagating materials
- Application of Carbofuran @ 10g / plant at planting
- 1 kg of bioagent Purpureocillium lilacinum (=Paecilomyces lilacinus) may be mixed in 100 kg of FYM, mixed with well, moistened and stored in shade for 2 - 3 weeks and applied @ 500 g - 1 kg / plant every 3 months
