Sterilization of Glass wares

Glassware like Petri plates, test tubes, pipettes etc., can be sterilized in a hot air oven. The apparatus should not be too closely packed to allow the air to circulate. It is best wrapped or in containers (Copper  jackets) to retain sterility after treatment. Sterilization should be completed  after the times and temperature shown below.
