TKD.1 (1997)

This variety (PA 2) is a selection from germplasm pool. The fruits are dark green colored, round shaped and medium sized. Trees are semi spreading, suitable for high density planting. Fruits mature earlier in the harvesting season. The tree yields 264 kg of fruits per tree per year (26.4t/ha). This is recommended for lower Pulneys, Shevroys and other hills of Tamil Nadu under irrigated and rainfed conditions.
