Elite mother plant from assembled unknown population at ADAC&RI, Trichy identified has been identified as variety. It is Off season bearing, shiny greenish yellow fruit with desirable aroma. Fruits are having high TSS (10o Brix) & ascorbic acid (180.8 mg/100 g. edible part). The organoleptic evaluation is better than Lucknow 46 & 49. It is resistant to fruit fly and tolerant to mealy bug, scale, mite and wilt. This withstands drought and sodicity tolerant. This is having a yield potential of 40.52 kg/tree (163.048 t/ha). This can be grown throughout in Tamil Nadu particularly under salt affected soil and stress conditions.
