• Samba season is best season and duration of 100-105 days out of which 21-25 days are nursery period
• Direct sown and transplanting system is used for growing this variety
• The rice is dull white in colour and coarse quality
• It yields about 1125 kg /ac and the straw yield will be 45 bundles (1350 kg/ac)
• It is highly suitable for making ‘Pori’ (puffed rice)
