  • Sandy clay and saline soils are most favourable soil
  • Saline as well as drought tolerant
  • 145-150 days and grows upto 160cm in height
  • Red in colour and also good taste
  • Yields upto 900kg/ac (12 bags/ac; 75 kg/bag)
  • Posterior end of each grain has a single bristle like structure which looks like a small bird’s tail
