Fortified or Safal Compost from Dung Heap in 40 Days

Compost

Safal mean successful/ value added or fortified composting technology which has been introduced after reviewing the existing ten compost production methodologies working in India. It is based on most simple concept that, works on the base of natural aeration, to reduce the heap temperature to normal and incubation by adding inoculums for accelerate the decomposition process and value addition through natural minerals for nutrient enrichment by natural mean on natural dung heap.

  1. Heap leveling: Naturally dung heaps are found in dome or in the con shape, so leveling at two and half feet height is quite appropriate for proper aeration and incubation purpose.
  1. Value mineral adding solution pouring in holes just after hole making process and composting culture after 6-8 when the temperature come down to normal.

  2. Repeat the inoculums application three time for fast decomposition process
  1. Hole making for decreasing temperature from 73 degree to 32-40 degree and aeration through the holes making in dung heap from top at 1.0 to 1.5 feet distance at 60 degree angle in 2.5 to 3.0 inch size
