GOI-DBT: Bee keeping – An income generating enterprise for women

Activities

  • Once in a week hive cleaning to prevent the pest and disease infestation is being carried out
  • Prepared and sent 20 copies of the annual progress report of the scheme
  • Extracted 2 Kg of the honey from the bee Park
  • Steps are being taken to analyze the physio chemical properties of honey collected from trainees holdings and bee park

Identified and contacted exporters for honey and honey based products to link the trainees with them
