He has been established his business at Melapatti coconut garden. It is just 2 km diversion from the Pallabatti village between Madurai – Trichy national highway. The entire block is fledged with hundreds of coconut garden. But there is no promising coconut nursery available in and around. The seedlings are also in heavy demand by the farmers. Because the mother palm  available in this farm are aging more than 70-80 years. Moreover, this Melapatti garden is being identified as one of the palm garden with excellent source of coconut having drought prone traits by Centr Plantation Crops Research Institute, Kerala. Hence the coconut seedling produced here are sold as and when it was scientifically ready    The seedlings are regularly purchased by the farmers of the nearby districts such as madurai, Dindigul and Pudukottai.

Marudhuvakudipatti is a remote village in Thiruppathur Taluk of SIvaganga district. The village is lacking basic amenities such as transport facilities. Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Scientists identified the village, which is having enormous potential in agriculture but oriented with extreme technological backwardness. The normal cropping system followed in M.K. Patti village is paddy. After careful analysis and subsequent PRA study it was found that lack of technological information is the reason for the existing non remunerative cropping pattern. Though they are getting higher remuneration for the first crop (Paddy) the subsequent crop they burned their fingers due to meager availably of water for the second crop (Groundnut and Pulses) so we desired to introduce short duration and drought resistant blackgram and groundnut as rice fallow crops. Now the system has been changed as Paddy – Groundnut, Paddy-Blackgram. Because of these changes the farmers feels proud and comfortable with additional income and also enriching the soil fertility levels through biological nitrogen fixation.
